Prudent leadership honored

The Alphazirkel is the leading network for around 5,000 family entrepreneurs in German-speaking countries. Every five years, it presents the exclusive Alphazirkel Family Entrepreneurship Award. In 2024, our Managing Director Roland Schreiner was honored for his prudent leadership and successful transformation of the company in the digital age. Particular mention was made of his holistic corporate management, internationalization, lean management, structural change and impressive innovations for the pharmaceutical and automotive industries.

Geothermal project sets new standards for climate neutrality

The German Award for Sustainability Projects is jointly presented by the news channel ntv, the German Institute for Service Quality and DUP UNTERNEHMER magazine in Berlin. Schreiner Group receives the prestigious award for its pioneering project to achieve gas independence through the use of geothermal energy. By using groundwater extraction in combination with eco-powered heat pumps, Schreiner Group is taking a big step towards climate neutrality. A dedicated heat pump house was built for this purpose. The jury of the German Award for Sustainability Projects recognizes this as a model for other companies.

Among the 20 Most Family-Friendly Bavarian Companies

The Erfolgreich.Familienfreundlich (Successful. Family-Friendly) award presented by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy and the Bavarian State Ministry for Families and Social Affairs recognizes the 20 most family-friendly companies in Bavaria. To select the winners, the judging team visited all companies on the short list and assessed them based on defined criteria. The Erfolgreich.Familienfreundlich award was presented for the first time in 2016 and Schreiner Group was among the winners that year—in 2023, the company was recognized again.

Honoring Success in Innovation

For Schreiner Group, it was a resounding success: In the 2023 FINAT Label Competition, two products were recognized with three awards. The most outstanding aspect for the hidden champion is the fact that all the awards were presented in the Innovation Group. The European Association for the Self-Adhesive Label Industry (FINAT) was particularly impressed by the Film- Based Cover that won two-fold recognition—including the Overall Group Award for Innovation & Electronic Printing. Another accolade went to the Smart Blister Card from the Schreiner MediPharm business unit.

The FINAT Awards ceremony is always a highlight for us: for many years, our products have landed in the winning positions in various categories. The awards are presented by the European Self-Adhesive Label Industry Association (FINAT).

Recognition for Valve Block Marking Label

The U.S. Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI) presents the prestigious TLMI Label Awards once a year. The awards competition is focused on innovations and special technical achievements. A wide variety of high-tech products from Schreiner Group have been recognized on several occasions before. In the “Tag-Industrial and/or Systems” category, the first-place award in 2022 went to Schreiner ProTech’s Piano Label. This particularly robust functional label marks the air connections on the valve blocks of automotive air suspensions.

Award for wound dressing made from printed electronics

We received the jury's special prize at the Bavarian Innovation Award for the "Coldplasmapatch" medical product, also known as CPT®patch. This is a high-tech dressing for the treatment of wounds based on printed electronics. It generates cold plasma that kills multi-resistant bacteria, promotes cell regeneration and can thus heal chronic wounds - even those previously considered incurable. Schreiner Group realized the innovative product together with the medical technology company Coldplasmatech.

Award for the fastest-growing SMEs

We beat several hundred companies in the "Bavaria's Best 50" competition - and not just once: We already won the award in 2017 and again in 2022 and are one of the 50 fastest-growing medium-sized companies in Bavaria. The award recognizes 50 companies in Bavaria that have achieved above-average growth in sales and employee numbers over the past five years. Schreiner Group has impressively succeeded in doing so. Other selection criteria include economic stability and future viability.

Finalist Award for Managing Director Roland Schreiner

Every year, the auditing and consulting firm EY honors Germany's best owner-managed companies with the “Entrepreneur Of The Year” award. Our Managing Director Roland Schreiner was a finalist in the prestigious competition in 2021 after a demanding selection process. The award recognizes the entrepreneur's business performance, employee leadership and social commitment. The independent jury of renowned experts also took into account innovative strength, sustainable growth and the future potential of our company.

Awarded as a future employer

IKOM, the student career forum at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), the vbw – Vereinigung der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e. V. (Bavarian Business Association) and TUM, have honored Schreiner Group as Future Employer 2020. With this award, the student initiative honors responsible and sustainable business practices of medium-sized companies.

1st place for RFID sensor platform

Our printed sensor platform won first place in the “Prototypes & New Products” category at the 2017 OE-A Competition. The top-class jury particularly praised the fact that the RFID sensor platform goes far beyond the prototype stage and was explicitly developed for roll-to-roll processes.

Innovator of the year

Schreiner Group won the overall victory in the nationwide innovation competition “Top 100” and was therefore awarded “Innovator of the Year 2015”. The jury's decision was based on the successful results in the categories “Innovation-promoting top management”, “Innovation climate”, “Innovative processes and organization”, “Innovation marketing and external orientation” and “Innovation success”.

Top trainees from top companies

What Schreiner Group's trainees have long appreciated has been official since 2015: The German Printing and Media Industries Federation recognized us as “Training Company of the Year 2015”. The expert jury particularly highlighted the exceptionally good performance of the Schreiner trainees. Schreiner Group has already provided the “German's Best”, i.e. the best trainee in exams throughout Germany, several times.
