We develop customized products. Individual functional parts, smart labels and high-tech labels—everything that leaves our production was developed by us. Complex challenges do not scare us. On the contrary! As was true decades ago, is still true today: “If no one can do it, Schreiner will!”

We are convinced that to develop the best products you need creativity and freedom. Our specialists think out-of-the-box. More than 100 employees from Research and Development, the Competence Centers and the business units contribute a wide variety of ideas and perspectives to the implementation of customer-specific requirements. This focus on innovation pays off: Currently, Schreiner Group holds more than 100 patents.

Research & Development

More than 30 specialists work in the Research and Development department. We carry out qualification tests in our own laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment: High-resolution microscopes, high-tech weathering and climatic chambers, and extremely precise measuring instruments are just a small sample. Whether basic or specialized competencies – we are experts for the optimal combination.

Awards

Not only Schreiner Group itself, but also many product developments have won prestigious awards. The following awards are a small selection of them.

FINAT Label Competition
We are always among the best and win first prizes in the annual competition of the European Self-Adhesive Label Industry Association (FINAT)—like the Smart Blister Card (photo). We are always particularly successful in the top category “Innovation”.

World Label Award
The world champion title has been awarded to our products several times. Most recently, the needle protection label Needle-Trap Secu was awarded in 2024.

TLMI Awards Competition
Most recently, in 2021 we were recognized twice for airbag labels by the North American Label Industry Association (TLMI).

OE-A-Competition
Printed electronics will be honored at LOPEC. In 2017, Schreiner Group received the award for its RFID sensor platform.
