3.1. Visits to our Web Pages
When you visit our web pages your web browser will automatically transmit your current IP address so that you can receive the desired website contents. This IP address is additionally stored and processed by Schreiner Group in the data center of a hosting partner (hereafter referred to as “we”, “us”) in internal log files for protection of the systems against attacks and for the simulation and correction of potential errors on the website. These internal system log files are exclusively processed for the aforementioned purposes and thus not for personalized advertising, tracking or similar purposes.
3.2. Newsletter
You can voluntarily sign up for our Newsletter by stating your e-mail address. In this case, we will process your e-mail address and–optionally—other data in order to periodically send you e-mails with interesting news about Schreiner Group. Your data will not be passed on to any third parties and we will continue to store them until you unsubscribe from our Newsletter.
If you no longer wish to receive our Newsletter you can unsuscribe from future Newsletters by clicking the “Unsuscribe” link included in every Newsletter.
3.3. Contact Form
You may use our contact form to leave a contact request by stating your contact details. The information you leave will be stored for the purpose of processing your contact request.
3.4. Online Applications in Talent Manager
Our Talent Manager provides you with an opportunity to submit online applications to Schreiner Group. Your data and documents will in all instances be transmitted in encrypted form to cloud servers of SAP and stored in our applicant management system. All data in the applicant management system will of course be treated as confidential information and processed by us exclusively for the purposes of the application process.
3.4.1. Registration
In order to be able to send an online application, you will initially have to set up a personal account with your name and contact details in our applicant management system. Without this registration, we will not be able to receive any online application from you in our applicant management system.
3.4.2. (Optional) Importing of Personal Career History
Following your registration, you may optionally import additional information pertaining to your career history from Xing or LinkedIn. If you would like to use this functionality you will have to log into Xing or LinkedIn once via our applicant management system and authorize the one-time importing of your data by us. In this process, we will receive neither access to your Xing and LinkedIn accounts nor to your Xing and LinkedIn passwords.
You may delete this imported information yourself from your account at any time; otherwise the information will be automatically deleted when your account is deleted (see Section 2.4.4).
3.4.3. Application
Following your registration and login with your account, you can apply for a job by using the online process. To do so, you will need to upload your application documents into our applicant management system. You may use this process either to apply for specific job opportunities or to send an unsolicited application.
3.4.4. Deletion of your Application and your Account
In the event of a negative reply, your application will be deleted in accordance with statutory provisions no later than six months following the negative reply. If we would like to include your profile in our pool of applicants for other jobs we will contact you separately and, if necessary, you may consent to the extended storage period for your application.
If you have not used your account in our applicant management system for more than one year it will automatically be deleted. We will inform you about the impending deletion one month in advance combined with offering you the opportunity to consent to an extension of the storage period by another year.
