Occupant Safety

Airbags must be securely protected from damage to ensure safe deployment over the complete life of the vehicle.

Reliability for Occupant Safety Systems

Our airbag covers safely protect airbags from external influences and require only minimal installation space with low weight. Necessary safety instructions are already printed in advance. In order to seal the inflator for the complete life of the vehicle, our self-adhesive metal foil-based airbag inflator seals are used. Our IC tapes hold head airbags in their folded state. The printed functional parts act as an installation aid and fixation in one to prevent unplanned opening—from pre-assembly to installation in the vehicle to deployment of the airbag.
