Long Range on Metallic Substrate

Whether containers, metallic components or wire mesh boxes—if conventional RFID transponders are applied to metallic substrates for identification, this does not lead to any reading results. The RFID-DistaFerr SL2 label from the business unit Schreiner PrinTrust is not affected by metallic substrates. Thanks to its special design, it achieves a long reading range of up to four meters. Since printing and programming can take place directly on site (via thermal transfer printer), flexible use of the label is guaranteed.
